    Kingdom Project is made up of creatives from all over the country that share a common passion for the power of good design in Christian ministry. The name Kingdom Project comes from the desire to use our creative gifts to further God’s kingdom. We sincerely believe that promoting Christ-centered ministries and communicating Biblical messages with clarity and beauty can stir people’s hearts and even lead them to take important steps on their spiritual journey. God can use creative media to bring people closer to Him. That’s the driving belief behind what we do.

    In the spring of 2004, I was finishing my junior year of college, studying graphic design. Assuming I’d be going into the advertising world after college, I was looking for a summer internship. On spring break, at a Saturday night church service in southern California, I felt God place something on my heart. I felt Him hinting at me, “John, what about using your artistic abilities to help my Church?” It wasn’t audible or written on the wall, but the feeling was powerful and clear. For whatever reason, I had never considered using design in ministry before that moment. When I returned to school in Alabama, I got an internship at a local church. Since then, I’ve been involved in ministry as a Designer, Youth Pastor and Communications Director, plus a brief stint in advertising. I’m passionate about ministry and I love using my creative gifts to help further God’s kingdom. I’ve dreamt for years about starting a company like Kingdom Project, and it’s an incredible joy to see it become a reality. I live in Omaha, NE with my wife and two sons.
